NATIONAL AWARNESS PROGRAMME ORGANIZED BY DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS, MES COLLEGE MARAMPALLY, ALUVA ON 10TH NOVEMBER 2021

Department of Computer Applications, MES College Marampally organized a National Cybersecurity Awareness Programme on the topic SMART CYBER ON 10^th November 2021.

The inaugural ceremony of the programme commenced with the address by Chairman of College Managing Committee Mr. M A Mohammed. The program was followed by a prayer song. HOD of the Dept. of Computer Applications Dr. Murugan R formally welcomed all the dignitaries present on the dias and the participants. He mentioned the importance of cyber security and cyber laws.

In his presidential address, Dr. Manzur Ali P P (Principal, MES College Marampally)briefed about the importance and relevance of the topic. He wished for the success of the programme and inspired the participants. Adv. A A Abul Hassan(Secretary), Mr. Jamal K M (Librarian) delivered the note of felicitations.

The honours ceremony began with awarding Dr. Leena C Shekhar for securing PhD from MG University followed by rank holders of 2018-2021 passouts. At the end, Dr. Julie M David, Coordinator of the Programme, offered a vote of thanks to all. She thanked all the invited guests and participants for gracing the occasion by their solemn presence.

Mr.Sukrith B had taken the seminar on SMART CYBER. He explained the importance of cyberspace in the current era and the hidden threats behind it . He also put forward the necessary precautions and remedial measures for making cyberspace a better place.

It was attended by a wide range of participants including teachers as well as students from various departments. It was an apt platform for the participants to present their findings and to explore new ideas in the concerned topic. A Q&A session was arranged after the seminar, in which many participants expressed their opinions and gratitude towards the conference.
